Arbel Sport Horses is a family run business established by
Ran and Keri Arbel in 1995
Ran started his professional career as a show jumping young rider representing Israel, the country of his birth at International competitions. He then spent a few years with Charlie Edwards learning his trade and riding alongside Charlie's son Carl who subsequently represented Great Britain in show jumping at the 2000 Olympics.
With 25 years of experience working with competition horses, Ran has developed his natural/expert eye for a horse, which he uses every time he buys. He knows exactly what he is looking for and buys with confidence, knowing that each horse that he personally selects has what it takes to fulfil its potential in eventing, dressage or show jumping.
When searching for bespoke competition horses, Ran personally rides every horse and discards those that he does not 'feel' will make it.
Ran is a professional, looking for quality horses with good conformation, movement, jump and temperament. His standards are never compromised and he would rather sell fewer horses than allow horses of lesser quality into his yard.

His aim is to buy, produce and sell top class sport horses and most importantly, see them do well with their new owners. Ran vets all the horses, before they arrive at his yard and has to be totally happy with each and every horse that he buys, so that he can sell to his clients with complete confidence.
The horses spend as much time as they need with Ran and are only offered for sale when he is completely satisfied that they are 'as described' and ready to do their job. Clients range from Pony Club to the very top International riders and demand for an Arbel Sport Horse regularly exceeds supply!
Ran and Keri have three daughters, Kiah their eldest has just left school and is very much part of the team. Kiah has ambitions to be an International Dressage rider on a horse bought by Dad.
